Hi -

It was two short years ago that this mailing list was established,
that the first prototypes were starting to get put together, that all
the ancillary software, documentation, and community started to form.
We have come a long way, and (as is always said) we have some way to
go.  Thanks to all of you.

As a token of appreciation, I'm planning to get a set of cafepress.com
kind of trinkets made and distributed to the various contributors.  I
would appreciate it if each local group of colleagues were to nominate
a person to relay to me names, favorite trinket suggestions, and a
mailing address.  (Reply-To: set).  Likewise, if you have ideas about
a simple little logo or clever slogan, send them over too.
