printf to a UART on an ARM9

Subject: printf to a UART on an ARM9

Greetings,

I'm picking up newlib for the first time and looking at using it with
FreeRTOS on an ARM9 processor.  Is there a way to set up new lib so
that standard i/o goes to a serial port?
