There is no support for ARM in glibc 2.5 and not much 2.5 stuff in
the crosstool's patch location. One guy run in to the same
__pthrfead_raise problem on crosstool's mailing lists but he
got no reply on that.
There are some talk about that debian experimental has ARM support
for 2.5. So far I have not been to find source, only bin....

first you should be e-mailing the crossgcc list ... second, you're using an
old glibc version so either go find the patch from the crosstool project or
upgrade to a version that isnt wicked old (this bug in particular has been
fixed already)
