Re: linuxthreads releases

First of all arm-eabi works like charm, great work!

I hope we don't have to keep making LinuxThreads releases. Once HPPA
NPTL is ready (is it?) and someone has done an m68k port, I fully
intend to stop taking care of it. The BSD guys still use it; I don't
know what will come of that.

I was trying to compile an oldabi linuxthreads glibc for arm, because the kaffe java vm can't cope with eabi yet. But linking 'libc_pic.os' fails with:

arm-v4t-linux-gnu-gcc -shared -static-libgcc -Wl,-O1 -Wl,-z,defs
-Wl,-dynamic-linker=/lib/ld-linux.so.2
-B/home/mkl/pengutronix/ptxdist/build/OSELAS.Toolchain-trunk/build-target/glibc-2.5-build/csu/
-Wl,--version-script=/home/mkl/pengutronix/ptxdist/build/OSELAS.Toolchain-trunk/build-target/glibc-2.5-build/libc.map
-Wl,-soname=libc.so.6 -Wl,-z,combreloc -Wl,-z,relro -nostdlib -nostartfiles -e __libc_main
[....]
In function `__getcwd':
../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/getcwd.c:90: undefined reference to `MAX'

I've filled out a bugreport: http://sources.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3335
