It's time to give some status report. I've updated the TODO list appropriately. With the changes I checked in a bit ago the basic functionality of the internationalization code is there. There will definitely be the one or other bug and some cleanup is necessary, but it's there. The only exception is the one feature of localedef which is mentioned in the TODO list. But this is minor and does not affect the runtime code. Looking at the list you'll see that in the first (the development) part there are only a few more things to do. I'll handle the first two red entries since nobody else seems to care. The RPC stuff is still uncovered. If nobody volunteers I'll simply revert the code. The other unfinished items of the mandatory part are in profiling and testing. Both will be started after the first test release. Which bring us to the next point: the date for the first test release. I want to make it on Friday the 30th. If you have an item you are working on, please make sure I get the latest patches Wednesday the 28th. Also, please start testing the ports. -- ---------------. drepper at gnu.org ,-. 1325 Chesapeake Terrace Ulrich Drepper \ ,-------------------' \ Sunnyvale, CA 94089 USA Red Hat `--' drepper at redhat.com `------------------------
