We've got a bug report that --sysconfdir=/some-dir isn't honoured at all. Looking at the configure files, I noticed: AC_SUBST(libc_cv_slibdir) AC_SUBST(libc_cv_localedir) AC_SUBST(libc_cv_sysconfdir) AC_SUBST(libc_cv_rootsbindir) But these are never set. I'm appending a patch to fix this for sysconfdir. May I commit this? What shall we do about the other variables? You can set them with configparms and therefore I would leave them alone.
