Wait, what other oppositions on the record?
How can you argue it should have gone in anyway, without further discussions? How can you argue it was not rushed in despite the absence of consensus?
I conceded this point to Andreas further down in the thread based on the comment in the snippet. There is a case to be made for cc'ing RMS on that removal, although like I said earlier, we will probably end up in the same place as right now, maybe with the exception of you not being in the firing line because of reverting the commit.
