Even if the user-visible symptoms as described in that bug aren't
something readily testable in the glibc testsuite (and even if there
aren't any other symptoms that *can* be tested - you don't discuss that
question), I'd expect a bug report in glibc Bugzilla for anything being
fixed that was user-visible at all.
