Re: Prefer C99 names for "long long" limits
I think the last version is fine enough. But if you think the new wording
is awkward, you could instead add a separate item:

These are obsolete names for @code{LLONG_MIN}, @code{LLONG_MAX},
@code{ULONG_MIN}, and @code{ULONG_MAX}. They are only available
if @code{_GNU_SOURCE} is defined (@pxref{Feature Test Macros}).
In GCC versions prior to 3.0, these were the only names available.
