- Subject: make install install_root problem upgrading from 2.2.5 to 2.3.2
I compiled GCC 3.2.2, binutils 2.13.90.0.18, and am using the
2.4.20 kernel headers.
As an user:
configure from another directory with
--prefix=/usr --without-cvs
--with-headers=/usr/local/src/kernel/linux/include
--disable-profile --enable-add-ons=linuxthreads
--enable-kernel=2.4.5
(the same options I used for 2.2.5)
make
make check
As root:
make install install_root=/root/glibc
make: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: version `GLIBC_PRIVATE' not found (required by libc.so.6)
I always used the same procedure from 2.2 to 2.2.5 and it never
failed. What's wrong ?
