This issue should now be resolved by commit
https://sourceware.org/git/?p=libabigail.git;a=commit;h=8b2f4ac43f1d3361eb1069b43f39385fc5bf5611
from the master branch of the git repository.

The fix should thus be available in the next 1.0.rc6 release of the libabigail
package.
