  I would say that Insight definitely does not deserve being forgotten. And i
don't like Eclipse because Java is slow and memory-hungry.

I dumped Eclipse because Java caused so much trouble. I'll go commercialif Insight disappears. My only significant issue at the moment is thatthere's some sort of font issue on RHEL6 that makes it look awful.Otherwise, it's great, notwithstanding no real ability to handle C++/STLcontainers.
