Use a third-party program which converts RDI to the GDB remote protocol. There's at least two; one formerly distributed by Cygnus that you can probably still find (I'm afraid I don't remember the name) and one in CodeSourcery's ARM releases, which are publicly available. There might be others, too.
I looked into the CodeSourcery utility, rdi-stub. It requires a dl-solib (SORDI) that consumes the RDI data. The only one I know of is ARM's Armulator. I need one that communicates with a TCP port, but I'm not sure one exists.
