It would be really good to get the OK, or at least some feedback, from a 
maintainer on this patch. I understand that there's a lot of traffic and 
things will get missed, but many other patches have been OKd over the 
last few weeks since it was (re)submitted on May 19, and this one seems 
to be in the slow lane for some reason. Particularly as this is my first 
patch submission, and as far as I know all the relevant conditions have 
been met - but if I'm missing something, please let me know!
