Hi Andrew

I'm not sure that I understand what the problem is. Can we help to sort out the legal issues by sending a letter or email from an officer of MIPS Technologies stating our intentions more clearly? We want to make sure that we can contribute further patches to GDB and the simulator without undue hassle.
