Oops, I misread your mail.  I thought this was about gcc, not gdb. ;-(

The ia64-portion of the gdb patches are waiting for the legal paper
work (it's making progress, but it's slow going...).  However, if you
could apply the non-ia64 specific part, that would be great.

This can't be done until after the legal process has completed.  Sorry.

Under what licence terms is the libunwind library distributed?
