It will say "unknown command @env" and won't produce the markup.
If there are too many of such unknown commands, it will stop.
Since @option and @env were introduced in the last version that was
released only in Sep 1999, I think it's too early to force users to
use only that version. Especially since currently there's no
difference whatsoever between @env and @code, and @option and @samp,
respectively.
