Subject: [patch] Do not assume little endian in setupMapsXXX

Some test cases will fail on PPC64 if we assume byteorder to 
LITTLE_ENDIAN on, and here is a patch against this problem.

Rebuild frysk on PPC64 and X86, OK to commit?
