I manually applied the xycom patch to the ecos.db file, and then built
both a eCos and a redboot image from it. I figured getting redboot to
load would be the easier task, so I wrote out the compiled binary to
the floppy "dd if=redboot_install/bin/redboot.elf of=/dev/fd0." It
claims that it has recorded the records to the disk successfuly
528+1 records in
529+0 records out
But when I try to boot it from my machine, it just freezes. It doesn't
continue to try to boot from the hd, so I assume it probably has a valid
boot image available. The LANCE_PCI redboot image I downloaded as a binary
works just fine, am I doing something wrong here?
