Is the RedBoot the eCos environment on a i386 PC target?

Hi,

I have built a redboot.bin for i386 PC target which has booted up successfully with the floppy startup mode. I manually assign
the IP address for it by using the command of "IP_Address -l 192.168.10.170 -h 192.168.10.171", and then ping or telnet
works.

Then I telnet the i386 PC target in the host like this:
                                   telnet 192.168.10.170 9000
and the prompt of "RedBoot>" echos on my host screen that means I'v got into the target debugging or simulating mode. My
question is that "Is this now in the eCos environment"? I need your help, please!

Best Regards

--Boen Shieh
