[ECOS] mips disassembler

I'm using the ecosSWtools-990319 mips-tx39-elf
toolset.

If I try and disassemble an object file compiled from
a C source file (using objdump -d) the first function
comes out as a hexdump e.g.

Is this a bug somewhere or am I not driving the tools
