I have considered doing a tool to read
readelf/dwarfdump output and construct dwarf/elf .o
sections, but have not found time.

One of the ideas that keeps popping into my head is
a converter between debug_info data and XML.  There are
already a lot of tools and libraries for dealing with
XML.  So it might give some extra leverage.

It's just a thought.
