Re: [docbook] article problem

Jeff,

Did you check your stylesheet to see if the elements are output? The DTD ensures structure, not converted output. The stylesheet converts your XML document.

Hi,

I'm using the following docbook type:

<!DOCTYPE article PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DocBook V4.2//EN">

I want to add a revision to my document, which I am producing as a printed version. I think I have exhausted all of the elements for the
articleinfo class, but none of them display a version as I specificied. I suppose some of this information isn't displayed at all unless the template is changed, but is there a default entity that I can use to print a version number?

Why doesn't :

<pubdate>$Date: 2003/4/28 16:20:58 $</pubdate>
 <releaseinfo role="t">$Revision: 1.5 $</releaseinfo>

display on the printed output for article?

Thanks,
Jeff
