When looking for templates, don't forget to also
look in the 'common' and 'lib' subdirectories. In this
case, common/gentext.xsl contains:
<xsl:template match="*" mode="object.xref.markup">
That template will locate the appropriate gentext template
from a locale file such as common/en.xml, and then use
the substitute-markup template to fill it in.
