RE: mkpasswd doesn't regognize me

> Your domain is not the logon domain of the machine you're sitting in front of.  Try `mkpasswd -c', or `getent passwd <MYDOMAIN>+<MYUSERID>', both of whihc should do what you're looking for.

Indeed, "mkpasswd -c" worked nicely.
