Problem using svn 1.8.13 accessing UNC network pathes under cygwin 1.7.35-1

I am experiencing the following problem again:

2013-07 msg00376.html

UNC paths are not recognized by svn.
The double slash at the beginning of UNC paths gets lost:

svn status -u //servername/some/path/under/svn
svn: warning: W155007: '/servername/some/path/under/svn ' is not a working copy

The output of "svn --version":

svn, version 1.8.13 (r1667537)
   compiled Apr 3 2015, 11:17:12 on x86_64-unknown-cygwin

Subversion is open source software, see http...

The following repository access (RA) modules are available:

* ra_svn : Module for accessing a repository using the svn network protocol.
  - with Cyrus SASL authentication
  - handles 'svn' scheme
* ra_local : Module for accessing a repository on local disk.
  - handles 'file' scheme
* ra_serf : Module for accessing a repository via WebDAV protocol using serf.
  - using serf 1.3.8
  - handles 'http' scheme
  - handles 'https' scheme

Parts of the output of "cygcheck -c":
cygwin 1.7.35-1 OK
subversion 1.8.13-1 OK

subversion-tools 1.8.13-1 OK

I hope this helps to locate the source of the problem.

Best regards,
