I prefer to install Cygwin software with setup.exe, which is what a
"Cygwin maintainer" provides, so I guess the good folks fail to deliver.
Also, I'm sure TeX Live also sports a dependency or two that I would
have to install, and maintain, manually. I prefer to keep my install
free of any locally installed software (that I have not written
myself).
Sorry to sound so ungrateful, but I suspect you knew what I meant from
the start - you certainly seem Cygwin-savvy enough, at least judging by
other posts.
I'm requesting a one-liner in a config file, is that such a big deal?
