The X clipboard is not the Windows clipboard. Someone wrote a patch
a few years ago to allow vim for Cygwin to access the Windows
clipboard. I don't have the specifics handy. It was posted to this
list or to one of the vim lists on Feb. 13, 2007. Unfortunately, it
no longer applies to the latest vim, I haven't heard anything
recently from the author, and I haven't taken the time to see if I
could update the patch myself.
