- Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: automake1.9-1.9.6-3
- Reply-to: cygwin at cygwin dot com
Automake is a tool for automatically generating `Makefile.in' files
compliant with the GNU Coding Standards. This package contains the
latest version of the automake system in the automake-1.9.x series,
automake-1.9.6.
This cygwin package, automake1.9, can be installed without conflict
alongside the existing automake1.10, automake1.8, automake1.7,
automake1.6, automake1.5, and automake1.4 cygwin packages.
This release is a packaging update of the automake1.9 package. This
will most likely be the final automake1.9 update for the cygwin-1.5
distribution; future development will continue with automake1.9-1.9.6-10
for cygwin-1.7.
Changes (automake1.9-1.9.6-2 ---> automake1.9-1.9.6-3)
* Update packaging to use stock cygport-0.4.0
* Fix setup.hint
* Import fixes from gentoo
* Ensure distcheck passes when using libtool-2.2 and
the LT_OUTPUT macro appears in configure.ac.
* Ensure /usr/share/aclocal directory is preserved
Testsuite results:
=====================================
1 of 547 tests failed
(21 tests were not run)
=====================================
FAIL: ltlibsrc.test
This test requires that the it be run as root (Administrator), which I
didn't.
