  Yep, works fine.  E.g. as long as you don't use a path (notepad wouldn't
understand it), "notepad file.txt" works fine to edit file.txt in the current
dir.

  Note that you'll have to remember and use d2u on any script files you edit
with notepad or wordpad etc.
