- Subject: [ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: lftp-3.5.12-1
- Reply-to: cygwin at cygwin dot com
A new version of lftp is available in the Cygwin distribution. lftp is a
sophisticated file transfer program and ftp/http client. It supports multiple
network protocols, offers tab completion, command history, job control, and
bookmarks, can mirror sites and transfer multiple files in parallel, and keeps
trying interrupted operations until it can complete them.
Changes in version 3.5.12-1:
* New upstream release, with minor improvements:
- hex-encode all non-ascii characters in URLs.
- updates to French translation.
* Added a preremove script, to provide automatic updates of /etc/lftp.conf
from upstream changes, if the user hasn't customized their /etc/lftp.conf.
* Fixed md5sum mismatch for setup.hint.
