Known bug in libreadline vs. prompts with non-printing control chars; should
be fixed upstream soon-ish as they are aware.

It's worth mentioning that cygcheck can be used to verify the status of all
your packages and should flag up any that had install problems. I think it
only checks all the files are present and correct - might see about adding a
warning if it spots a left-over postinstall script that hasn't run yet.
