[ANNOUNCEMENT] Updated: tiff-3.8.2-3, libtiff5-3.8.2-3, libtiff-devel-3.8.2-3 NEW: tiff-doc-3.8.2-3, libtiffxx-3.8.2-3, libtiffxx-devel-3.8.2-3

The tiff package provides libraries and utilities for manipulating TIFF image files. This is a security fix release.

* Updated to latest upstream release
* Includes security patches from Gentoo Linux for CVE-2006-2193
  and CVE-2006-2656.
* Split C++ runtime library and development files into
  separate packages
* Split API documentation into separate package
* LZW compression support included
* Switch to cygport build framework (thanks to cygwinports guys)
  but requires patched cygport as detailed here:

To update your installation, click on the "Install Cygwin now" link on
the web page.  This downloads setup.exe to your
system.  Then, run setup and answer all of the questions.
