problem linking to pcre

Hi all,

I'm trying to port an app from linux to Cygwin, and it's choking when trying 
to link to the pcre library.

When I compile (with "gcc -lpcre rob.c"), I get the message:
  /c/DOCUME~1/rsiklos/LOCALS~1/Temp/cc7QPrgq.o(.text+0x44):rob.c: undefined 
reference to `_pcre_compile'
  collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

This is the program:
