The problems is:
lfpt.sh expects to have a console around, a user and keyboard attached. But
this isn't the case for postinstall scripts when they get run from setup.
to get rid of the problem fast:
$ diff -up lftp.sh.original lftp.sh.done
--- lftp.sh.original 2003-11-07 20:42:56.000000000 +0100
