If by 'gmake' you mean GNU make, then yes, the Cygwin make package is GNU
make. The name 'gmake' is used on some systems to avoid clashing with a
system-specific version of make. You can always simply do 'cd /bin && ln
-s make gmake' if you have scripts relying on the name.
