Re: how do I link in nl_langinfo()?

Yep, that was what I was on about - a generic recommendation. It compiles without a single hitch (except the I18N stuff) on cygwin, and is very handy for personal use. (just patched my cvstrac for colored diffs, and am on my way to fiddle with some of the internals. :))

I just did -- very cool!
I'm not sure what this means in this context since there is already a
cvs mailing list for cygwin which provides information on checkins.
You can always subscribe to it if you want to see what's going on.

I believe that Rui was just recommending cvstrac as a generally useful
tool that seems to build and run (well enough) under Cygwin:

hanging off inetd, and despite a few niggles, it's great for keeping
tabs on personal projects - I've been using it for six months now
under cygwin, with no issues other than the I18N stuff (which I tried
to get working today after a CVS update).
