Huh?  I didn't read anything that said you shouldn't test this on
Windows.  Of course you should test it on Windows before submitting

Also, please provide a plain text patch rather than a
uuencoded/compressed one.  We also will need a ChangeLog entry (not a
diff of a ChanegLog entry).  Look at the ChangeLog entry in the
make directory and structure your entry accordingly.
