Was able to set xhost +, then telnet to another machine, export the display to the local IP, and run any x software I wanted. Now after installing Pro/E it no longer works. After exporting the display and then running lets say emacs it returns after a very long time and says Chek the DISPLAY environment variable or use â??-dâ??. Also use the â??xhostâ?? program to verify that it is set to permit connections from your machine.
