to download (remove the index.html's) : [....] ImageMagick-6.7.6.2-1-src.tar.bz2 ImageMagick-6.7.6.2-1.tar.bz2 ImageMagick-doc/ImageMagick-doc-6.7.6.2-1.tar.bz2 ImageMagick-doc/setup.hint libMagick-devel/libMagick-devel-6.7.6.2-1.tar.bz2 libMagick-devel/setup.hint libMagickCore5/libMagickCore5-6.7.6.2-1.tar.bz2 libMagickCore5/setup.hint
I'm a bit puzzled. Version 6.3.0.1 came with a library package called libMagick10. 6.4.0.6 came with a library called libImageMagick1, and now we get libMagickCore5.
Is there some secret scheme behind the changing library names?
And, after uploading 6.7.6.2-1, can we remove 6.3.0.1 together with libMagick10, given that it's not used by any package in the distro?
Corinna
for what I see on the source
MAGICK_LIBRARY_CURRENT=5 MAGICK_LIBRARY_REVISION=0 MAGICK_LIBRARY_AGE=0
so the 5 seems right.
I wasn't talking about the version number, but about the library name itself:
libMagick vs. libImageMagick vs. libMagickCore
Corinna
http://packages.debian.org/sid/imagemagick for the libMagickCore
ImageMagick libImageMagick-devel libImageMagick5 perl-Image-Magick
Yaakov, any problem on cygport side ? I see only one package (virtuoso-opensource) depending from libMagickCore5
while dvdauthor, gejengel, inkscape, libxine1-image, psiconv, zbar need libImageMagick1
regards Marco
