[ITP] d 1.2.0

Hash: SHA1

I would like to propose packaging 'd' for Cygwin distribution.

'd' is an alternative to ls -l (see setup.hint), released under the GPL. The current and previous versions have built OOTB under Cygwin 1.3.x and 1.5.x with both GCC 3.2-x and 3.3.1. The canonical homepage is at:

(BTW, regarding the ls /cygdrive/c/ bug discussed most recently on the thread starting with:
unlike ls, d acts properly in this case and _does_ show pagefile.sys, although with some strange attributes, or lack thereof.)

I have created binary and source packages for review. The binaries were built on Cygwin 1.5.5 on Win2K with GCC 3.3.1-2 (although as mentioned before, the source has built on previous versions of both Cygwin and GCC). The packages are available at:

category: Utils
requires: cygwin
sdesc: "The Directory Lister"
ldesc: "The Directory Lister is a optimized version of ls verbose mode
with colorized output, space optimization, and many other features."

Thanks in advance for your input.
