OK, all... could you please send mercurial changesets instead of using
git-send-email? When I apply such a git patch, attribution gets lost,
and I have to remember to manually set the 'user' field when committing
the changes. With a proper mercurial changeset, all this is automatic.

For projects that are hosted in git, you wouldn't send a mercurial
changeset, would you? I would like to see the face of Linus or any
other sub-tree maintainer if/when he receives such a patch...
