Hi Tristan, Hi Matthias, On 15/01/15 07:04, Matthias Klose wrote:
I still see a lot of changes for 17531 in the bug report and on the trunk. Is there any intent to put this on the 2.25 branch? I managed to apply patches, but starting with 2015-01-05 Nick Clifton <nickc@redhat.com> PR binutils/17531 I get into some trouble back porting, starting with this commit. The last backport for me which works without much trouble is the one from 2014-12-22.
I have backported the patches to readelf from the master branch to the 2.25 branch. (See attached). I am going to work on the other binutils source files next (objcopy etc) and then move on to the bfd sources.
Cheers Nick 2015-03-24 Nick Clifton <nickc@redhat.com> Apply from master: 2015-02-26 Nick Clifton <nickc@redhat.com> PR binutils/17512 * readelf.c (process_corefile_note_segment): Check for inote.descdata extending beyond the end of the section. (process_v850_notes): Likewise. 2015-02-24 Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> PR binutils/17531 * readelf.c (process_symbol_table): Declare chained. Increment it in every loop.
