I don't know if we have one for both ld and gold.
BTW, the enclosed patch for lllvm is needed for ld.

Subject: [PATCH] Allow default visibility on local symbol
GNU ld sets default, not hidden, visibility on local symbol. Default or
hidden visibility on local symbol makes no differences in run-time
behavior.
