Hi,
If you think fixing bugs is a interesting place to explore and start with, then you could perhaps find one of the bug from below and address it.
https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?component=binutils&product=binutils&resolution=---
Remember to ask for suggestions/comments from the forum, as and when you need.
If you are familier with some specific target (like arm, avr etc), then choose bugs from them, may be.
Thanks,
Soundararajan

Dear all,
I am Renjith, having some experience in embedded side and planning to
contribute to bin-utils as I can to promote GNU project and to improve
my knowledge base.
It would be very helpful if someone can point me the things I need to
start with so that I can be a useful member in the family?
Expecting the co-operation.
Many kind regards,
/renjith_g
