[patch] fix gprof build with -Werror

Subject: [patch] fix gprof build with -Werror
Authentication-results: sourceware.org; auth=none

VERSION gets redefined in gprof/gconfig.h and causes a build failure with the
default -Werror on the 2.24 branch.  Just removing the definition lets the build
succeed and gprof --version using the definition from bfd.  That should go to
the branch and trunk.
