This patch is vitally important for MIPS compact-EH support, which
Catherine Moore will be pushing upstream (to binutils & GCC) within the
next few days, if all goes according to plan. If the patch is not
acceptable as-is, could someone perhaps suggest a way to modify it to
make it so?
