You're not an orphan.  I see a similar error compiling CPU2006 445.gobmk
with gcc rev 180588 on powerpc-linux.

Thanks.  I noticed later that arm-rtems tripped
the same bug.  Looks like there are multiple GCC
PRs which appear to be various incarnations:
