- Subject: [Patch] AIX: support option -f in GNU ld
Hi,
AIX native linker accepts a response file with the option -f. This patch adds this feature in GNU ld.
('-f' conflicts with --auxiliary, but as the later isn't used on AIX I think this is OK).
However, this patch doesn't support glob(3) patterns (contrary to the native AIX linker) simply because it isn't used a lot and isn't available on all platforms.
Ok for trunk ?
Tristan.
