I tried to google this but the words are too

that can take an executable and tell me
why each symbol is in the executable?

-Map is a good start at this but having a
a dependency graph per symbol would be better.
Reminds me of this:

Saved my day a while back (as in, app wasn't
fitting flash anymore :-) and this made it
much easier to find what was pulling what).

I think that would help if I knew how to run them. :)

I saved the output of ld -M in "map".

cat map | ldmap only prints:

digraph ldmap {

Any hints?

The goal is to analyse statically linked
RTEMS applications and determine why the
individual parts of RTEMS are included. With
this information, we can find unused code that
is just pulled in.

Any ideas?
